IBT is a membership based organisation. Our members determine our strategy, mission and vision. They come from a range of organisations who work in issues related to development, the environment and human rights. IBT is managed by a Board of Trustees who are all elected members.

We are always keen to extend our membership - since one of our principal activities is lobbying, the wider our membership the more effective our voice is. For further information about joining IBT contact IBT Director, Mark Galloway.

Our most recent event, in March 2006, was opened by Kevin Lygo, Channel 4´s Director of Television. Several commissioning editors spoke about their international coverage andexperts from China, India and Africa gave first hand testimony. The aim was to inspire producers to help raise the quality and breadth of Channel 4´s international programming.
