We’ll be looking at brand activism and the implications of this for INGOs with guest speaker Mark Iremonger, chair of the digital agency Pixeled Eggs.
Mark will talk us through the ways in which brands, both commercial and not for profit, have changed their behaviour online. He’ll be highlighting examples of some winners and losers and discuss the implications for INGOs.
A recent YouGov survey found that more than half of UK consumers believe brands have a responsibility to wider society. Social media is credited with being instrumental in this change. This has led to commercial organisations seeking to develop and promote their social credentials. In this session we’ll be looking at whether this new brand behaviour is a threat or opportunity for INGOs.
Tea, coffee and breakfast will be provided. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements.
